Some moments feel bigger than celebration, they feel like coming home.
This October, Altenberg marked 30 years of brewing, and we launched Kunorë Brewing, surrounded by the people who’ve been part of the journey from the start: friends, family, colleagues, and partners who’ve helped shape every step along the way.
It was an evening filled with what we love most: good beer, good food, and good company. Tables were set with traditional Albanian dishes paired to match our beers, the stone oven was glowing, and conversations flowed as easily as the brews.
The celebration was punctuated by heartfelt speeches from the founders. Guests were taken on a journey from the brewery’s early days, and the plans for the excited future ahead. The story of Altenberg is not only one of beer but of family, dedication, and shared dreams. The founders’ reflections highlighted the people who made the brewery what it is: colleagues who became family, partners who became friends, and consumers who became part of the story.
Altenberg was built on effort, curiosity, and heart, and those same values are what inspired Kunorë Brewing, a new chapter born from experience, family, and a deep love for what we do.
This milestone reminded us of something simple: great beer takes time, care, and people who believe in what they’re creating. So here’s to the next chapter, to more ideas, more shared tables, and the same dedication that’s been with us since the very first pour.
